At My Quanta, we offer
In-Person & Online Therapeutic Services
To make an appointment, please do the following:
1. Complete the Client Form
2. A therapist will contact you, schedule a meeting, and discuss your method of payment for services.
3. A confirmation email will be sent to you.
4. Shortly after the session ends, your therapist will send a Therapeutic Letter, a receipt for services rendered, and a brief Quality Assurance Survey to your email account.
In-Person therapeutic services involve a session between a client and therapist at an agreed-upon community location or an in-home visitation in the Eastern Ontario (Canada) region. An in-home visitation requires the client to complete a Home Visitation Form.
Online therapeutic services involve a real-time online video session between a client and therapist with a webcam. Online therapy is facilitated through Doxy. The following information is provided by Doxy about their compliance with current privacy laws.
"We are PHIPA and PIPEDA compliant on all of our plans.
Our current procedures and processes comply with PHIPA, of note we:
- Doxy.me does not store patient health information. Therefore servers that store patient health information in Canada are not needed.
- Doxy.me video calls are an encrypted peer-to-peer connection between the provider and patient, meaning data his exchanged through the internet directly between the two participants rather than passing through a server.
- Doxy.me meets HIPAA and GDPR requirements. As a result it will also comply with PHIPA. Check out this article for a comparison between HIPAA and PHIPA.
- Canadian providers do not need a BAA.
Learn more about PIPEDA and our Privacy Policy.
For any other PHIPA-specific questions regarding Doxy.me, contact our support team."
